Chrome Nanolite Stripping Guide - A chrome-plated nanolite stripping guide keeps the Alpha+ lightweight and allows any fly line to move through the rod effectively. The chrome nanolite guide holds up well to saltwater abuse.

Hard Chrome Over-Sized Snake Guides - These oversized snake guides improve the castability and accuracy of the Alpha+ without adding unnecessary weight to the rod. They’re also saltwater safe and accommodate the largest saltwater fly lines.

Anodized Aluminum Reel Seat w/Double Uplocking Components - The reel seat on the Alpha+ is made with durable anodized aluminum that sheds saltwater and resists corrosion. The double uplocking component anchors larger saltwater reels for improved performance. The Alpha+ also has a high-quality cork grip with a durable fighting butt for optimal fish-fighting power.

Premium Graphite Rod Tube - Winston’s classic green graphite rod tube matches the blank color of the Alpha+. Winston Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee - As of June 2019, Winston’s original owner guarantee covers every new Winston Boron/Graphite and Graphite fly rod against breakage or manufacturer defects. The rod owner must register the rod via a warranty card or online. For all warranty work, the entire rod must be returned to Winston.
