Austin Daniels
Fly Fishing Guide
Background
Originally from Kansas, Austin grew up fishing stillwater for bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish. With access to a lake out the back door of his childhood home, much of his time growing up was spent on the water.
As a teenager, Austin’s passion for fly fishing formed during a family vacation to Colorado. After that, he looked forward to fishing small creeks and alpine lakes in the Centennial State every summer.
When he turned 20, he joined the Air Force and landed in Arizona, where he spent time fly fishing small, remote creeks in the eastern part of the state. When his time in the Air Force came to an end, he made Colorado his permanent home and pursued a career in the outdoor industry.
On most days, Austin can be found honing his angling skills on the water or at The Blue Quill Angler sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport.
